  • Mahogany (Red) colour, M2; Double bloom, blooms on stem, branches and lower surface of leaves.
  • Medium plant stature, semi condensed internodes; plant height ranges 90 –100 cm. (up to primary spike).
  • Early maturity: 160 to 180 days.
  • Semi convergent medium long primary branches (10-12), and profused secondary and tertiary branches.
  • Cylindrical semi compact long primary spike (70-80 cm.)
  • Average number of capsules on primary spike ranges 140 – 150.
  • Emergence of primary spike on 40 - 45 days, and matures around 110 - 120 days.
  • Spiny, bold capsules
  • Medium kernel size, test weight of 100 kernels ranges 34-36 grams.
  • High oil content : 48-50%
  • Tolerance to capsule borer and sucking pest.
  • Resistance to wilt and root rot
  • Suitable for both rainfed and irrigated ecosystems.
