- Mahogany (Red) colour, M2; Double bloom, blooms on stem, branches and lower surface of leaves.
- Medium plant stature, semi condensed internodes; plant height ranges 90 –100 cm. (up to primary spike).
- Early maturity: 160 to 180 days.
- Semi convergent medium long primary branches (10-12), and profused secondary and tertiary branches.
- Cylindrical semi compact long primary spike (70-80 cm.)
- Average number of capsules on primary spike ranges 140 – 150.
- Emergence of primary spike on 40 - 45 days, and matures around 110 - 120 days.
- Spiny, bold capsules
- Medium kernel size, test weight of 100 kernels ranges 34-36 grams.
- High oil content : 48-50%
- Tolerance to capsule borer and sucking pest.
- Resistance to wilt and root rot
- Suitable for both rainfed and irrigated ecosystems.
